Love in a suitcase ... is the story of my life .. so many different countries over the years ... so many people loved and lost (at least physically) ... glad you enjoyed the post ... did you read GG's post ... fantastic, though of course I also enjoyed your wonderful considerations ;-)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13596079559559123392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6448986794424732557.post-19126130772355183152014-09-25T05:49:49.713+02:002014-09-25T05:49:49.713+02:00Ah yes, I remember the prompt, though not my own a...Ah yes, I remember the prompt, though not my own actually (as I would have commented it at the time). Your response was really moving, the man in the photo looks so downhearted ad the wound in his breast can leave us no choice but to feel his desperation.

I'm happy you enjoyed my take on this prompt ... it was a pleasure to write it.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13596079559559123392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6448986794424732557.post-77369761474953675862014-09-25T05:43:44.834+02:002014-09-25T05:43:44.834+02:00Thanks Janice I'm happy you enjoyed the post ....Thanks Janice I'm happy you enjoyed the post ... this is a series of haiku ... but as they seem to relate the could be a double sadoka ... which is a poem created by two haiku that resonate each other.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13596079559559123392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6448986794424732557.post-60002117615464338892014-09-24T22:55:36.507+02:002014-09-24T22:55:36.507+02:00I really enjoyed this analysis -- like you I felt ...I really enjoyed this analysis -- like you I felt a need to pause and reflect on what love IS first. Your haiku series is great -- I was really struck by the "love in a suitcase", and by the love who is no longer willing to share that love. A great analysis -Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6448986794424732557.post-30256223268902066622014-09-24T10:40:22.436+02:002014-09-24T10:40:22.436+02:00Wonderful post Georgia and a very nice explanation...Wonderful post Georgia and a very nice explanation of all kinds of love. This haiku is an interpretation of a painting which I saw not so long ago. I think you know that painting because I saw it on MindLoveMisery's menagerie and I even think it was hosted by yourself. You can find my response at: http://chevrefeuilleshaikublog.blogspot.nl/2014/07/a-first-attempt-on-photo-challenge-19.html
As I saw the painting I immediately had the sad feeling of "broken love" and that's why I wrote this haiku/senryu with it's sad conclusion of "love isn't forever". Your shared haiku here are just awesome.Chèvrefeuillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00848986700725789154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6448986794424732557.post-1236840039133138712014-09-24T07:39:02.661+02:002014-09-24T07:39:02.661+02:00Lovely, nostalgic post and poem that has a name I ...Lovely, nostalgic post and poem that has a name I fail to remember.Janicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10359355308140058671noreply@blogger.com
