Time Glass Challenge - Sunrise - October 30, 2014

For 12 hours this post is up on Carpe Diem Haiku Kai .. and fortunately, I've got two hours in order to be inspired and write (and link it properly too ;-) ) my haiku!

pink cherry blossoms
shyly blushing at Eos
- early spring morning

(c) G.s.k. '14

anticipation
dark silence palpitating
in the east - the sun

first pink rays of light
shimmering on the mountains
- illumination

Aurora awakes
calling Helios to play
- a new day is born

Aurora

Eos was the Greek name for the Goddess of dawn - Aurora her Latin version ... In Italy the dawn is called Aurora or Alba ... which originally meant white or bright.
