This week's surprise Ghost Writer is
Hamish Gunn of Cabin Fever on
Carpe Diem Haiku Kai. He adroitly analyzes a beautiful haiku composed by our host Chèvrefeuille and asks us to write a haiku or tanka about the tree of life ... here is my effort for today:
under the
linden
cathedral colored canopy
the birds like angels
flitter from branch to branch
Riva's tree of life
G.s.k. '14
What a beautiful tree...to see and hear the birds flitter like angels must be such an experience!
ReplyDeleteThanks .. these trees are sotall and so beautiful and always full of birds ... it's an inspirational experience at times.
DeleteThe linden flowers of spring... could it be more lively than that..
ReplyDeleteYes .. in spring they are really beautiful! Thanks for mentioning them.
Deletealoha Georgia. i particularly like the image you create with birds "flitter from branch to branch" —one of the experiences in a wooded area i enjoy a lot. in the canopy of that tree it would be a thrill to lay down and peer up for hours. way cool. aloha.
ReplyDeleteI agree in all senses .. the most enjoyable serene pass-time is laying under a tree watching the birds flitter about :-)
