It's September again and time to create a month of haiga for
A 19 Planet Art Blog! The one below I created for Carpe Diem Haiku Kai's Festival #3 - Autumn prompt which was published on the 29th of August and which I missed:

This is gorgeous! You do these so well!
ReplyDeleteAch ... thanks but I'd really like to find the time to really play around with photos ... usung a "drawing board" and photoshop! You should try the haiku month ... I rarely use the prompts but Rick does some really good ones ...
ReplyDeleteI was reading some of his comments - and visited one of the participants too - some great photo tips. But a heck of a lot of time and effort involved in them. But ... the linky is live now for the start of the 30 days ... I added my very first one, hooray! :)
DeleteReally loving your photo - would love to walk there. Ahhh!
Well ... he is really into haiga ... but this year he's been experimenting with other forms of writng including a sycopated haibun form ... good for you ... now I have to find the Mr. Linky!
DeleteWow it is awesome!I loved the line 'wind whispered secrets'. It is so imaginative.
ReplyDeleteThanks ... nice to read your comment!

ReplyDeleteIt was another take on that path you liked a few months ago ;-) .... happy you enjoyed.
DeleteI enjoy both Haiku and sepia photography. This is a perfect pairing!
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting Poetry of the Netherworld. I believe we will have to take up this challenge!
----my pleasure to drop by! I too like antinqued photos and love the quality of sepia, which I also sometimes use in my drawings ... thanks for giving me your input!
DeleteGreat work!
ReplyDeleteThere is a lovely whimsical feel to your haiga Georgia - I can imagine the person walking would be whistling too.
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice road to go down ... and one could certainly whistle very nicely on it!
Delete4th attempt.
ReplyDeletealoha Georgia. okay. 3rd try to leave a message here.
the use of the sepia tones (or maybe antique tones) in the image as an autumn is a great choice (imo). the fragment and phrase approach to haiku is one i like as well. very cool.
thank you for jumping in again. very fun. aloha. rick.
