I'm so glad you called it purple too -- wasn't sure if I should call it purple, blue, violet ---
ReplyDeleteA very sweet haiku :)

ReplyDeleteI suspect that, despite their ostensible silence, the bellflowers have a tune or two in them.
ReplyDeleteShy Bellflower
I'm sure your right about that!
DeleteIt's like those mental challenges where the word is printed in blue but the word itself says, "purple" -- if you know what I mean? ;)
ReplyDeleteAh yes, I do know what you mean ... when I was looking at the photo, I too said "blue bells" but blue bells are another flower ... so I let myself be led by the democratic process and said purple.
DeleteWonderful haiku Georgia ... silent beauties ... nice line
ReplyDeleteThanks glad you liked the line ... :-)
DeleteLovely, cara, they really are silent beauties!
