under the snowdrifts -
the tinkling of tiny bells
children's bright laughter

then the leaves whispered:
a wild boar plays the organ.
and the bells all rang

This poem by Tomas Tranströmer reminded me of one of my favorite Christmas books by Terry Pratchett ... "The Hogfather".

I love the link between children and snow...now I am watching this movie you attached...thanks for sharing this, I am going to share it with my grandson at Christmas:)
ReplyDeleteGlad you're enjoying the film and I'm happy you'll be sharing it with your Grandson, I think I'll put it on next week when we decorate the tree wit my son. ... it's in two parts btw and was produced by the BBC, I do so love their programs ... really great! I'm also liked the haiku it just jumped on the keyboard after reading his haku! ...
ReplyDeleteWonderful.. using the bells works so well
ReplyDeleteThanks Bjorn ...
