as the tempest growls
try to see the spring-time sun
beyond winter's shroud
try to see the spring-time sun
beyond winter's shroud
cherry blossoms
inside my frozen mind
try to bloom
inside my frozen mind
try to bloom
§
in darkest winter
the sun tries to shine brightly
over white snow fields
remembering golden grain
and the song of cicadas
the sun tries to shine brightly
over white snow fields
remembering golden grain
and the song of cicadas

Hey --- "grain"! I almost made that a Photoku word this week. No kidding. Our muses have been conspiring again -- naughty ladies that they are! LOL
ReplyDeleteJust beautifully done --- optimistic without glossing over the sheer EFFORT it takes to keep a positive spirit in winter.
Ah .. would have been fun to work with grain ... which reminds me hum ... and yes it is rather an effort right now to keep a positive spirit!!
