city morning

a crane lifts its shadow
up the wall

after a night's sleep
the dawn of a new day -
sounds of traffic

night traffic
the city never sleeps
first rays of dawn

early morning
factory workers changing shifts
city awakens

in the morning
vibrations of the metro
the city's heart beat
