Chevrèfeuille writes on Carpe Diem Haiku Kai:
For today's prompt I have chosen a nice quote from "Sand & Foam":This post was particularly interesting and revealing to me ... I can so sympathize with the author and curator of Carpe Diem through this post more than I ever have before. I really think you should drop by to read the post.
[...] "Solitude is a silent storm that breaks down all our dead branches; Yet it sends our living roots deeper into the living heart of the living earth". [...]
In the meantime, this is Chèvrefeuille's haiku:
deep down
inside
hiding in the deeper layers of the soul
divine inspiration

Another haiku/senryu ispired on this post:
scent of
incense
guiding me through the depths of my soul -
showing the light

through the lonely mist
walking solitary paths
seeking connection
walking solitary paths
seeking connection
the human journey
through the meanders of soul
enlightened nature
through the meanders of soul
enlightened nature
together with nature
united spirit and soul
the lonely voyage
united spirit and soul
the lonely voyage
the pitter patter
rain falls on the tarmack
a heartbeat
rain falls on the tarmack
a heartbeat
solitude
silence of inner self
reaching out for nature
silence of inner self
reaching out for nature

lovely! Thanks for this beautiful haiku!
DeleteWhat a gorgeous photo Georgia!
ReplyDeleteAnd once again you give us a remarkable series of haiku - I'm especially drawn to the heartbeat/rain on the tarmack.
I like the word tarmack ... when I was in the first grade our teacher told us not to go onto the tarmack. I didn't know what tarmack was, so I asked my Mom who didn't know either, but she suggested I not use the word unless I did find out what it meant.
DeleteI too reach out to nature to define myself...

It's about the only place one can reach out too I think. Love your photos ... BTW my sister lived in Arizona for years. so recognize the area with fondness.
DeleteI bow ... what a gorgeous post Georgia.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks Kristjaan .. you honor me.
