Wow --- first of all, that image would be a great Shadorma prompt -- or a storyteller prompt at MLMM -- !
ReplyDeleteLove how you've carried the old feeling in the runes into the pagan festivals and rebirth. :) I'm reconsidering my graffiti approach -- and thinking perhaps I missed the mark -- a great feel to your completion.
I don't think there's anything wrong with going with graffiti, it was original and besides the hokku spoke of graffit .. so why not?
DeleteRunes brought to my mind the pagan festivals ... I was raised an agnostic christian and after years of fiddling around with various approaches to christianity, I found that none of them convinced me, so I looked into the festivities that they'd borrowed and transformed and found that I loved Yule .. the feast of lights, the rebirth of the world. So it was a logical choice for me to go to Yule for inspiration. BTW I'm now an agnostic buddhist who loves pagan festivities ;-)
A wonderful continuation of this Tan Renga Georgia ... I like that you have brought in Yule
ReplyDeleteIt was irresistable ... the runes brought forth yule. :-)
DeleteI'm laughing over your comment to Kristjaan, that the runes brought forth yule! Well done! Thank you!
ReplyDelete;-) have a great week-end Mark! And thank you for a great hokku!
