Onomatopoeic Haiku - January 14, 2015

bees buzzing in spring
the daffodils preen coyly
yellow robed geisha

calling Jack Frost
on a cold autumn night
rustling leaves

roaring moped
careening down the street
at dawn

constant rumble
factory hums through the night
sound economy

  1. careening - great word. You do a double dose each time, don't you. I don't always get to the second one.

    1. If you mean on two blogs ... yes, I often do. But then I just write poems usually ... if you mean series, yes I often do. Glad you enjoyed careening ... but mopeds at dawn not so great though :-)

  3. I hear the rustling leaves calling Jack Frost, and love the daffodils being coy with the bees. You bring me right into the present.

  4. I love the daffodils being coy with the bees--and the rustling leaves calling Jack Frost. You channel Gaia's voice.
