Cicadas
It is tie for our 5th time challenging feature "Time Glass" in which the goal is to write a haiku (classical or non-classical) within 12 hours. The only thing you get from me is a photo, painting or another image and a prompt. Both have to be used for your haiku.

DeleteI've been in a few congregations where the elderly ladies sounded a bit like screeching cicadas -- nicely done Georgia ! :)
ReplyDeleteMe too and not only elderly ladies ... those squeaky voices really send shivers up my spine!
DeleteWhat a perfect ku, Georgia...reads so beautifully and I can actually picture that darn crow listening.
ReplyDeleteAnd waiting .... thanks Cheryl-Lynn.
DeleteA very serene haiku Georgia ... unless the sounds of the cicadas ...
ReplyDeleteOne never knows with cicadas ;-)
