I give permission

                                                                                              I give permission
                                                                                              the late winter sun shines
                                                                                              rain clouds draw near



I give permission                                                                     for this slow spring rain to soak
For this slow spring rain to soak                                              renewing life
The violet beds.                                                                      soon blossoms open

    I really love the violet beds / wrinkled pajamas -- to me, it could be read as either the violets in wrinkled pajamas or the author in wrinkled pajamas -- love the ambiguity :)
